I believe it is important to share this information. I don’t know the women personally involved but I think it is terrible what has happened to them. Going out to a nightclub, walking down the street, etc. — none of this should ever make us feel unsafe.
People are working with the proper authorities to deal with this individual. If you have information to share, use the Philadelphia Police Department’s “tips” hotline (215-686-8477).
The venue where the assault took place has yet to release a public statement, and has been removing posts to their Facebook wall that reference the incident.
What you can do
Flyers are being distributed at events in town, and can be found on telephone poles, etc. You can download a PDF of the poster here.
Feel free to share this post.
Like the following Yelp review.
Philadelphia Weekly writer Tara Murtha is also interested in hearing from you; get in touch with her if you have information to share.

Loud Slow Rules!

My band is looking for a drummer.

We’re looking for someone
* who will be committed to the band, and to staying in Philadelphia
* who enjoys loud, heavy music
* stable and dependable
* who can play big and open

With bonus points for
* being visually artistic
* knowing people in the local DIY and house show scene

We play
* fucking loud
* slow
* similar to Melvins, Boris, etc

We want to
* record songs gradually to release on the internet
* record a larger project (full-length or EP)
* play a few shows a month in an 8-10 hour radius of Philadelphia
* play fewer shows in bars and more shows in all ages spaces
* create a consistent visual style

Download or stream our demo at http://wormrider.bandcamp.com. Contact me via email at paintitmatt [at] gmail [dot] com if you or someone you know are interested.
